Three's Company
SoundBulb is a concept dreamed up by three designers, being Hoang M Nguyen, Poom Puttorngul & Anh Nguyen. The idea of it seemed so marvelous and problematic that I thought it’d make a worth post after all.
Now, no doubt these bulbs look good. I like the shape of them. The concept is fantastic, too; the bulbs receiving their sound input from wireless or bluetooth master computers.
Music = Light
I’d love to have these screwed in at my house. It’d be event more fun if the sound, rather than being pumped throughout the receiving signal’s output field, traveled along with you in the space. That way it’d conserve a bit more energy, although you can’t quote me on that. It just sounds like it would

Of course the obviously problematic glitch of these SoundBulbs is heat. No matter what the wattage is or how efficient the bulb, science has proved to us that light = heat. Period. And with these bulbs pounding (?) all night long, one can only guess that there would be detrimental speaker damage in the housing shell.
You also have to think of what the sound quality would be like if these bulbs were playing through your house. According to the assembly order, the speaker is behind the LED frame, which might result in sound quality loss.
Simply put, the idea is there. Now it’s just up to technology to test it out and implement them in your sleazy cousin’s basement discotech. You know, dirty ol’ Cousin Murphy? Yeah, him.
